CrossPix System Downloads

Liberty Software has created two ways to use CrossPix, as a Netscape plugin (for Macintosh or Windows users) or as a stand alone application (currently for Macintosh user only).

The CrossPix Plugins

Plugins should be download to (or downloaded and copied to) the Netscape Plugins folder/directory and (in the case of the Macintosh Plugin) unBinHexed and unStuffed.

The Macintosh Plugin is available Stuffed and BinHexed and is about 32 K. (Hold the mouse down on this link and, when the menu appears, select "Save this Link as...". Use the Save dialog to find the Netscape folder with the Plugins folder inside it. After you save the link you will need to use Stuffit Expander to unBinHex and unStuff the file.)

Stuffit Expander can un-Stuff and un-BinHex files. And it's free from Aladdin Systems.

The Windows Plugin is about 64 K.

After the plugin is correctly downloaded and installed (unBinHex and unStuffed), either:

or

and then (optionally)

The CrossPix Application System

The CrossPix Application System is now at Beta 4 and in general release to Macintosh users. This was posted May 3, 1998.

The CrossPix System is available Stuffed and is about 250 K.

The CrossPix System is also available Stuffed and BinHexed and is about 340 K.

Stuffit Expander can un-Stuff and un-BinHex files. And it's free from Aladdin Systems.
